Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from NBT Host services within 14 days, without giving us a reason. Here is how, what it means for each service — hosting, maintenance, a website built by us, domains — and how you get your money back. For hosting, every customer — individual or company — also has the 30-day money-back guarantee.

1. Who has this right
The right of withdrawal applies to consumers — individuals who buy outside their trade, business or profession — under Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014 on consumer rights (OUG 34/2014). It applies to all services ordered at a distance: on the order page or — for the website we build for you and for a domain transfer — on WhatsApp or by email.
Companies, sole traders (PFA) and other professionals who buy for their business do not have this right. They can, however, cancel hosting or maintenance at any time, effective at the end of the paid period, under the Terms and Conditions. The 30-day money-back guarantee for hosting applies to them too (section 9).
2. The period
You have 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the contract, that is, from the date on which, after the payment is confirmed, we send you the order confirmation by email. For the website we build for you, the contract is concluded when we have confirmed the final price to you in writing and you have accepted it. Each service ordered separately has its own period, counted from its confirmation.
It is enough to send us your withdrawal statement before the 14 days have passed.
3. Starting earlier
When you pay by card on the order page, the request below is part of the order: you tick it before paying, and we activate the hosting and register the domain immediately after the payment is confirmed. The request is not pre-ticked, and without it the order cannot be paid. With it, you expressly ask us to start before the 14 days have passed and confirm that you know what happens if you withdraw afterwards (Art. 8(8) of OUG 34/2014). You keep the right of withdrawal, with the proportional payment described in section 4, and for hosting you also have the 30-day guarantee.

The part in brackets appears only if the order also includes a new domain. The request covers all services in the order, including WordPress maintenance, if you choose it.
The website we build for you and domain transfers are not ordered on the order page. For these, if you want us to start earlier, send us the request on WhatsApp or by email; you can copy the appropriate text.
Website built by us

As evidence, we keep the request ticked in the order, with the date and time you sent the order, and the written request, with the date and time of the message.
4. What it means for each service
Web, WordPress and cloud hosting
The Starter, Store and Multi-site plans — for web hosting and for WordPress hosting — and the Cloud 1, Cloud 2 and Cloud 3 plans. Following your express request in the order, we activate the account within at most one business day of the payment being confirmed. If you withdraw after activation, you pay for the days of hosting provided up to the day you notify us, in proportion to the total price of the paid period (Art. 14(5) of OUG 34/2014), and we refund the rest.
For example, with the Starter plan paid for one year (€55), if you withdraw after 10 days of hosting, you pay €55 × 10 / 365 ≈ €1.51 and get €53.49 back.
In the first 30 days from your first payment, for hosting you also have the 30-day guarantee: you get back the money paid for the plan, without the calculation above.
Bulk hosting
Bulk 300 is paid monthly or yearly. Bulk 500 and Bulk 1000 are paid yearly only, in advance, and run on a separate server, set up only for your account. For all Bulk plans, following your express request in the order, activation takes place within at most 2 business days of payment. If you withdraw after activation, the rule is the same as for the other plans: you pay for the part of the period provided up to the day you notify us, in proportion to the total price paid, and we refund the rest.
VPS servers
The five VPS plans and their options (including uptime monitoring for the websites on the server), paid in advance, monthly or for 12 months. Following your express request in the order, we set up the server and send you the access details within at most 8 business hours of the payment being confirmed, so before the 14 days have passed. If you withdraw after that, you pay for the part of the paid period provided up to the day you notify us, in proportion to the total price of the paid period (Art. 14(5) of OUG 34/2014), and we refund the rest.
For example, with VPS 2 (€20 per month), if you withdraw after 6 days of a 30-day month, you pay €20 × 6 / 30 = €4 and get €16 back.
The 30-day guarantee does not apply to VPS servers: we buy the server for you from the provider and pay for it in advance. The right of withdrawal described above remains unaffected.
WordPress Maintenance
Maintenance is paid in advance, for each WordPress website hosted with us. Following your express request in the order, we start it before the 14 days have passed. If you withdraw after we have started, you pay for the part of the service performed up to the day you notify us, in proportion to the price of the paid period, and we refund the rest. After the 14 days, maintenance has no minimum term: you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the paid period, under the Terms and Conditions.
Website tools: uptime monitoring and SEO reports
When added to an order, the tools are paid together with the hosting plan or the VPS server and follow its rule: if you withdraw, you pay for the part of the paid period provided up to the day you notify us, proportionally, and we refund the rest. If you turn them on later from the NBT Account, they are a separate monthly subscription, which starts immediately after payment: you have the 14-day right of withdrawal here too, under the rules above, and after that you can turn them off at any time from the NBT Account, effective at the end of the paid month. Phone alerts are free.
Website built by us
A business website or online store, built by the NBT X SOLUTIONS SRL team. We confirm the final price in writing before we start. Following your express request, we start work before the 14 days have passed. If you withdraw during this time, you pay for the part of the work done up to the day you notify us, relative to the total confirmed price, and we refund the rest; we show you in writing how we calculated the amount.
If we have completed and handed over the website within the 14 days, and you have confirmed that you lose the right of withdrawal upon completion, you can no longer withdraw (Art. 16(a) of OUG 34/2014).
Domains
The domain is registered in your name, through Openprovider, with the registry of the extension (for .ro, with ROTLD). Registering, renewing and transferring a domain are performed in full, all at once, at the registry. That is why we carry them out before the 14 days have passed only at your express request, with your confirmation that you lose the right of withdrawal for the domain once the operation has been completed (Art. 16(a) of OUG 34/2014). After that, the domain price is no longer refunded. Prices are on the Domains page.
5. Exceptions
- You can no longer withdraw from a service that has been fully performed, if performance began with your prior express consent and you confirmed that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed (Art. 16(a) of OUG 34/2014). With us, this happens for domains — immediately after registration, renewal or transfer — and for the website built by us, if we have completed and handed it over within the 14 days.
- Hosting and maintenance are provided for the entire paid period, so they are not fully performed within the 14 days: you can withdraw from them until the end of the period, paying only for the part provided.
6. How to withdraw
Send us a clear statement that you are withdrawing from the contract: by email, to suport@nbt-host.com, or by post, to the registered office of NBT X SOLUTIONS SRL at Șos. Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt nr. 71A, Camera 1, Iași, Romania. Tell us which service you are withdrawing from, if you have more than one. It is enough to send it before the 14 days have passed. We will confirm receipt by email.

7. What happens to the money
We refund the amount paid within at most 14 days from the date we received your statement. If you did not ask us to start earlier, we refund everything. If you did, we deduct only:
- the part of the hosting or maintenance provided up to the day you notified us;
- the part of the website work done until then;
- the price of domains already registered, renewed or transferred at your request.
The refund is made using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise: to the card used for the order or, for the website we build for you, by bank transfer. You do not pay any fee for the refund.
Our services are digital: you have nothing to send back and there are no return costs.
8. What happens to the data and the domain
- The hosting account is closed after withdrawal or after we give you your money back under the 30-day guarantee. Before deletion, we give you time to download a copy of your data, as with any termination of the contract.
- After the account is deleted, the backups that still contain it are deleted automatically when their retention period expires: those on the server within at most 30 days, and the encrypted ones on the separate storage space within at most 5 weeks of the date they were made.
- The domain remains registered in your name until its expiry date, even if you withdraw from hosting or ask for your money back for it, and you can use it with another provider.
9. The 30-day money-back guarantee
For hosting, in addition to the right of withdrawal, you have a guarantee: in the first 30 days from your first payment for a hosting plan, we give you your money back, on request, without you giving us a reason. The full conditions are in the terms, section 13.

If you are a consumer, in the first 14 days you have both and you choose the one that suits you. For hosting, the guarantee gives you your money back without deducting the days used; for other services, only the right of withdrawal applies.
How to ask for your money back
Write to us at suport@nbt-host.com before 30 days have passed since your first payment, and tell us which hosting account you are asking for a refund for — for example, its domain. You can copy the text below.

- We refund the money to the card you paid with.
- After the refund, the hosting account is closed, as after a withdrawal (section 8). The domain remains in your name until it expires.
- After the 30 days, we no longer refund the remaining period: hosting continues until the end of the paid period.
10. Legal guarantee of conformity
The right of withdrawal and the 30-day guarantee are separate from the legal guarantee of conformity. For digital services, such as hosting, Government Emergency Ordinance No. 141/2021 (OUG 141/2021) provides that the service must conform to the contract throughout the entire period of supply.
