1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser. Some are necessary for the website to work, others help with statistics or with measuring ads. Alongside them there is the browser's local storage (localStorage), which works in a similar way.
2. What we use
Strictly necessary — always active
On every visit, the NBT Host website stores a single item: your choice in the cookie banner. Without it, the banner would appear on every visit. It does not identify you personally and it never leaves your browser. Only when you pay by card on the website or sign in to your NBT Account is a technical cookie added for each: one links the payment to your browser, so that after paying you go straight into your account, and the other keeps you signed in.

Links the card payment to the browser in which you started it, so that after paying you go straight into your NBT Account, without an email link. It contains only a random code, nothing about you. It is set only when you start a card payment on the website.
At most 2 hours; it is deleted when you enter your NBT Account after payment.
Analytics — only with your consent
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to see in aggregate statistics which pages are read, where visitors come from (for example from a search or from another website) and what kind of devices they use. The Google script is loaded and the cookies below are set only after you accept analytics, in the banner or in your preferences; if you refuse, nothing is sent to Google. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, and from the page address sent to Google we remove anything you typed into it (for example the domain chosen on the order page). We do not use Google Analytics in the NBT Account. What data Google receives and how long it keeps it: Privacy Policy; the data may also reach Google LLC, in the US, under the conditions described under transfers.

We currently do not use any marketing tools and we do not display ads. If this changes, we will ask for your consent again.
3. First-party and third-party cookies
Without your consent, the website does not load scripts or fonts from third parties: the fonts are hosted on the same server. The only exception, and only after you accept analytics, is Google Analytics: the script comes from Google, and the _ga and _ga_K42VEKP9M7 cookies belong to Google (third-party cookies), even though they sit on the nbt-host.com domain. Links to WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram take you to those services' websites, which apply their own cookie policies only once you open them.
The contact form sends your message through Formspree, without placing any cookies on our website.
Card payment and the portal where you manage your card and subscription are on Stripe's pages, which apply Stripe's own cookie policy, only once you get there. Our website does not load anything from Stripe.
4. How to change your choice
At any time, using the button in the footer of every page. Refusing is just as easy as accepting, and nothing related to analytics or marketing starts before you explicitly click. Your choice is valid for 12 months; after that, the banner asks for your consent again. If you withdraw your consent for analytics, Google Analytics stops immediately and the website deletes the _ga cookies from your browser.
5. How to delete them from your browser
In your browser settings you can delete cookies and site data, or block them entirely.
In Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies; you can delete the data of a single site from “See all site data and permissions”, and all of it from Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data.
In Safari on Mac: Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data; on iPhone: Settings → Apps → Safari → Advanced → Website Data.
In Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security.
You will find the Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_K42VEKP9M7) among the site data for nbt-host.com. If you delete the site data, the banner will ask for your choice again.
6. Legal basis
Strictly necessary data is based on our legitimate interest in delivering a working website. Analytics (Google Analytics) is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time, just as easily as you gave it; withdrawal does not affect the statistics collected before. Marketing would also be based on consent. All of this is in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), transposed in Romania by Law No. 506/2004.
7. Changes
If we change the categories or the providers, we will ask for your consent again. The current version is the one on this page.
