Uptime monitoring
Hear it from us, not from your customers.
An online store that is down for an hour means orders that never happened, and without an outside check you only find out when someone calls you. We look at your website every five minutes, day and night, and email you as soon as it stops responding.
From a different data center
The check does not run on the server that hosts your website, but on one of our servers in a different data center. If it ran on the same one, it would go down with it and there would be nobody left to alert you.
Email when it goes down, email when it comes back
We send the email only after three failed checks in a row, each with three attempts: a website that is slow for a moment or a brief network glitch is not a website that is down. When the website comes back, you get a second email saying how long the outage lasted.
History, in your NBT Account
Uptime percentage over the last 30 days, average response time and the list of incidents, with the time each one started and how long it lasted.
The check looks at your website's public address, from the outside, exactly as a visitor sees it. The alerts reach us too: if the problem is on the server side, we get to work without you having to write to us.
Alerts on your phone too
In addition to email, you get a phone notification when your website stops responding and when it comes back, at the same moment as the email: the address, the status, the time and how long it lasted. Turn them on from your NBT Account with one button, whatever your plan.

With a VPS server
Uptime monitoring is also available with a VPS server from us: when you order, next to the server, or later, from your NBT Account. A VPS has no hosting account we can take the websites from, so you enter the addresses yourself in your NBT Account after we hand over the server.

- We accept an address only if its domain points to your server's IP, so nobody can put other people's websites up for monitoring

Every month, a list of things to fix.
At the start of every month we go through your website and email you a report, which you can also find in your NBT Account. It is not a score and it is not a promise: it is a list of concrete things that you can fix yourself or ask us to fix.

Titles and descriptions
The lines Google shows in search results. We tell you which pages have no title or description, which repeat from one page to another and which are so long they get cut off.
Pages without a main heading
The heading at the top of the page, the one that says at a glance what the page is about. We list the pages that have none.
Broken internal links
Links from one of your pages to another of your pages that no longer exists. We find them and tell you which page they are on, so you can fix them.
Images without alt text
The text that describes an image for people who cannot see it and for search engines. We list the images that do not have it.
Sitemap, robots, HTTPS
Whether you have a sitemap and a robots file and whether they are correct, whether the whole website opens over https, and whether redirects lead where they should in one step, not five.
Speed and comparison with last month
How long the server takes to respond and how much each page weighs. Plus what changed since the last report: what you fixed and what is new.

The price is the same for each of the two tools and changes only with the hosting plan you have. You do not choose the tier: we work it out from your plan, when you order or in your NBT Account.

The price is for one tool: if you want both, add them up. When you order, the tool is paid for the same period as the hosting, so you only see the periods your plan is sold for — Cloud 2, Cloud 3 and Bulk 300 are sold monthly or for one year, and Bulk 500 and Bulk 1000 yearly only. If you add it later from your NBT Account, the tool is a separate monthly subscription with its own invoice. Prices are in euros and are final: NBT X SOLUTIONS SRL is not registered for VAT; you pay by card, in euros, through Stripe.
With a VPS server: uptime monitoring, by plan
SEO reports are not sold with a VPS. The price depends on the server plan and comes with a number of addresses that you enter in your NBT Account. Yearly only when the server is also paid yearly: 12 × the monthly price, because the free month applies only to the server.

What the tools do not do
Written here, not discovered along the way.
There are things we could do separately, with the price agreed in advance, and things nobody can honestly promise. We tell you about both before you order.

Fixing what the report finds
The report tells you what needs fixing; the fixing is a separate job. On WordPress it is covered by maintenance; otherwise, write to us and we will tell you the price in advance.
Bringing the website back up when it goes down
The alert reaches us too. If the problem is on our server, we fix it anyway; if it is in your website, we tell you what we saw and what should be done.
New texts and images
The content stays yours. If you want us to write it, that is a separate job: We build your website.
We do not do these at all
We do not promise Google rankings
And we do not report them. Nobody can measure from the outside where you rank in search: that data is in your Google Search Console account. If you connect it to us, we put your real figures in the report — for now, we do not.
The report is not a “Google score”
The figures in the report are measured by us, with our own rules, and are explained in the report. They do not come from Google and do not mean that Google is or is not satisfied.
We do not guarantee the website will never go down
Monitoring does not keep the website up: it tells you when it stops responding. Who steps in and how quickly depends on the plan and on what broke.
We do not look inside the website
The check requests the page from the outside, like a visitor. We do not log in to your admin panel and we do not ask for passwords.
Web addresses only
Monitoring requires web addresses, over HTTP or HTTPS. It does not check services without a web address — a database, SSH, a mail server —, it does not measure page load speed (only how long the server takes to respond) and it does not read the page content.
Website tools FAQ
Before you order.
No. You can get them separately or together, and the price is the same for each: if you want both, add them up. You can get one now and the other three months later, from your NBT Account.
They are different things. With maintenance, we look at the website and tell you in the monthly report what we saw. With uptime monitoring, you get the email yourself, within minutes of it happening, and you see in your NBT Account the 30-day uptime percentage, the average response time and the list of incidents.
All the websites in that account. If you have fifteen websites in a Multi-site account, we monitor all fifteen, for the same price: monitoring one more website costs us nothing, so there is no point charging you for each one. The same goes for the monthly report, which covers every website in the account, with up to 25 pages crawled per website.
If you have websites in different hosting accounts, each account has its own tool.
Because a bigger plan means more pages to crawl for the report and a website more people depend on. We work out the tier from your plan, you do not choose it — and you see it in the order before you pay.
At any time, with one button in your NBT Account. The tool runs until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not refund the remaining part and there is no minimum term. If you are an individual consumer, you also have the 14-day right of withdrawal.
No: the tools are added to an NBT Host hosting plan, because they are linked to your account and shown in your NBT Account. The only exception is a VPS server from us, for which uptime monitoring covers the websites on it. If your website is currently with another company, we migrate it for free — the steps and conditions are on the Free migration page.
In your NBT Account, under Tools, press “Turn on phone alerts”. Install the free ntfy app and subscribe to your link, with one tap on your phone or with the QR code on your computer, then send a test alert. The link is secret and yours alone; if you gave it to someone by mistake, you change it with one button. The emails keep coming either way.
After we hand over the server, in your NBT Account, under Tools, you enter the addresses of the websites on it, up to your plan's limit. Each domain must point to the server's IP; if it goes through a proxy that hides the server, for example Cloudflare with the orange cloud, we cannot link it to the server. You see a wrong address immediately, with the reason, and one that no longer points to the server stops on its own and we tell you by email.
